The World Food Championships is the world’s largest Food Sport competition focused on everyday cooking categories. The World Food Championships is a destination to celebrate and reward the 15,000+ cooks who compete annually in culinary festivals, throw downs and recipe contests across the globe. Making it to WFC is their chance to shine and prove their talent and skills on Food Sport’s biggest stage.

WFC hosts competitions in 12 categories where cooks enter dishes in a number of rounds for the opportunity to win cash prizes. Categories include a whole range of cuisines from Live Fire to Burger and Dessert to Rice/Noodle, so there’s something to tickle the fancy of chefs of all abilities and styles. We have recently partnered with WFC and are delighted to offer some spaces to cooks in our community. 

Preston Nguyen, who appeared at the Taste Fire Pit in 2023, won the Chef category at the World Food Championships in 2021.
