June 15, 2021

We want to reassure you that the four-week delay to the full lifting of restrictions has little impact on Taste of London 2021. From the outset, we‘ve planned for a reduced-capacity event that could take place in Stage 3 of the government reopening and can go ahead regardless of yesterday’s announcement.

Expect more space for social distancing, sanitiser stations aplenty, and masterclasses and workshops that have been designed with extra precautionary safety measures in place. And if we do need to make a few more tweaks to the festival, we’ll keep you updated along the way.

Our COVID-19 safety measures include:

👉 Masks will be required when in a queue or when in an enclosed area. You don’t need to wear a mask when walking around the event or when feasting
👉 There will be increased hand washing and hand sanitiser stations
👉 We have reduced the capacity and increased gangways around the event to allow for people to remain socially distant
👉 Everywhere at the event will accept contactless payment only
👉 QR codes will be dotted around the event which will allow you to view the event guide digitally
👉 Increased regular cleaning of seating and surfaces
These are the main ways we’re keeping you safe during your visit over the next 2 weeks.
Please continue to stay safe, keep washing your hands, and get ready for a full on feast – let’s have the incredible Taste we’ve all waited 745 days to have. We can’t wait to party with you all!
