Our friends at SheerLuxe, the UK’s leading online fashion & lifestyle publisher, have picked out their must-eat restaurants at this year’s festival. Check them out below…

Kolamba
Sri Lankan hotspot Kolamba serves up hoppers alongside excellent veggie curries. The team also offers a great weekend brunch menu with zingy cocktails. Meanwhile, the main menu features crowd-pleasing dishes like hot butter cuttlefish; sticky marinated prawns with chilli, tomato and onion; and spicy sambols.

Bone Daddies
Every dish at Bone Daddies takes diners on a journey through the streets of Tokyo. From rich, savoury broths to perfectly cooked noodles, Bone Daddies serves excellent ramen alongside dishes inspired by traditional izakayas and bao buns stuffed with sticky, crispy fillings.

Angelina
Dalston spot Angelina offers diners an exploration of Japanese and Italian cuisines, cultures and influences via a multicultural mash-up of ingredients and techniques. The menu changes regularly, so there’s always something fresh on offer, as well as much-loved antipasti and pasta dishes.

Le Petit Beefbar
Chelsea’s neighbourhood restaurant Le Petit Beefbar is just the spot for a long lunch or fun night with friends. Laidback yet glamorous, the restaurant does classics so well – think steak frites, wagyu burgers and steak tartare. And there are plenty of plant-based options for veggies, too, ready to be enjoyed with one of its signature cocktails.

Santo Remedio
Ever-popular Santo Remedio has two spots outposts in the capital. Its London Bridge outpost site serves up regional Mexican dishes, from seabass cooked over a wood-fired grill to short rib with Oaxacan mole; while its Shoreditch site spot is an ode to the cafés of the Roma Norte and Condesa neighbourhoods in Mexico City. Tacos, slow-cooked meats, and margaritas are all obligatory.

Roka
Japanese cuisine meets city-slick dining at this much-loved restaurant group. From expertly crafted sushi to sizzling robata grill specialties, every dish is beautifully presented – partly why its restaurants get booked up weeks in advance. Towering sushi platters are served on ice, while its tasting menu features the best signature dishes.

Oblix
Set high above the City in The Shard, Oblix offers a dining experience with panoramic views of London. The restaurant is divided into two spaces: Oblix East, with a lively bar and grill, and Oblix West, with an open kitchen. The menu features a blend of contemporary and classic dishes, including seafood platters, wagyu steaks and crowd-pleasing pasta dishes – as well as afternoon tea classics over at Oblix East.
