On Thursday 7 May 2026, we’re bringing the heat to Battersea with JOIA Fire Feast, the very first event of Taste of the City, our brand-new citywide series of exclusive events celebrating London’s restaurants, chefs and food culture. This one-night-only event brings together live-fire cooking, big flavours and top chef talent, and marks the start of something seriously exciting, with more events still to come.

Created in collaboration with JOIA, it’s the first event in the series and brings together some of the capital’s most exciting culinary names for a night of fire, flavour and seriously good views.

Expect sweeping Battersea views, a live DJ, dishes cooked over the legendary Big Green Egg and four leading chefs each serving their own take on live-fire cooking. It’s bold, it’s flavour-packed and it’s definitely not your average Thursday night.

Leading the line-up is JOIA’s Concept Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa, one of Portugal’s most celebrated chefs and the chef behind Lisbon’s two-Michelin-starred Alma. Joining him on the night are Chris Golding, of Creative Restaurant Group, Carolyn Or – Head Chef of Chet’s at The Hoxton and Juan Ruiz from Prince Arthur Belgravia.
