A Taste of the Mediterranean with Belazu

Voted as ‘Best Activation’ at Taste of London last year, Belazu, the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern ingredient company, is back with an even bigger line up for the festival this year.

The exhibit will host a range of live cookery demonstrations from London’s top restaurant chefs and most talked-about food writers and stylists. Product specialist, Bob Curbishley will be co-hosting the demonstrations and, also running ingredient workshops to give guests an insight into the heritage behind the company’s signature ingredients and latest launches including three new speciality vinegars and four innovative pesto recipes.

For the first time at the festival, Belazu has created an Olive Bar with contrasting varieties from across the Mediterranean as well as a range of the company’s house-roasted nuts. The Belazu team will be on hand offering tasters of the whole range including culinary pastes, oils, balsamic vinegars, fresh olives and pestos so guests can try before they buy.

During the cookery demonstrations visitors will be given the opportunity to win signed cookery books and the chance to take part in chef Q&As.

Guests will also be able to enjoy tapas and a glass of Spanish Cava, red and / or white wine that are all produced at the same farm where Belazu source the majority of their olive oil from and, this year they’ve teamed up with the independent brewery, Vocation to offer Heart & Soul a fruity IPA and a Pilsner with hops from the Yakima Valley.
