Sweet Cheesus! The World Cheese Awards are coming to Taste
The whey-t is over. Our wildest dreams have been answered: the largest homage to fromage on the planet is coming to Taste of London! Start wearing in your stretchy jeans now because a veritable feast is on its way; featuring over 3,000 cheeses, from 30 countries, across 6 continents, all competing to be crowned World Champion.
What to expect at Taste:
On Thursday, take part in a special tasting of previous cheese champions and learn all about the awards from a World Cheese Awards expert judge at the AEG Taste Theatre. At the weekend, the vaults will be thrown open to Taste visitors, when you can take your curd nerdery to another level on a specialist cheese tasting tour, including ‘Pimp my cheese’, ‘How to eat cheese’ (hint: with wild abandon) and ‘The raw milk revolution’. There’ll be cheese markets. There’ll be tastings. There’ll be awards. The Cheese Bar has got in on the action. It will be glorious.
Tickets are limited so secure your space quick before every man and his mouse gets wind and wants a slice.
