Pleesecakes was born with the kind support of Joe Wicks and a shout out in 2017, where they suddenly found themselves thrust into the limelight of social media. This was followed shortly by an appearance on This Morning, and even the chance to make a cake for The Queen on behalf of Mcvities.

Fast forwards a few years and Pleesecakes launched their first range of mini cheesecakes in Selfridges. From there, country-wide domination of the DIY cheesecake landscape beckoned, with appearances at festivals across the UK and the expansion into frozen cheesecakes with the launch of their Freezecakes truck – spotted at Taste of London in 2021.
