Manthan is the newest venture from acclaimed Chef Rohit Ghai. Following on from the successful launch of Kutir, Chelsea in late 2018, Ghai returns to the neighbourhood where he made his name with the opening of Manthan in Mayfair, June 2021.
Manthan, meaning to churn and reflect, is the culmination of Ghai’s extensive and international career to date. Taking advantage of the last year’s slower pace, Ghai has develop his ideas for this menu by tapping into the stories and inspiration behind his signature dishes and the menu at Manthan will reflect his learnings, experiences and teachings to date. Dishes will showcase the best of his time growing up in Madhya Pradesh, India, before he embarked on his whirlwind career in London’s finest Indian restaurants, and ultimately being awarded a Michelin-star in record time when he was Executive Chef at Jamavar.
