Recreating many of the delicatessen’s beloved classic pasta dishes and serving a selection of antipasti, the restaurant showcases quality regional Italian ingredients.
Simple and traditional, the menu focuses on fresh pasta that’s handmade in the deli every single day – just as it has been since 1944. Headed up by Italian chef Masha Rener, the pasta offering includes her signature Pici alla Norcina with Porcini mushrooms and Umbrian sausage as well as Burrata Pansoti with Datterini tomatoes, toasted pinenuts & basil. No Italian experience is complete without authentic wines and cocktails, as well as desserts, like our much-loved cannoli. Most ingredients on the menu at the restaurant can be found in the delicatessen just around the corner, so guests can enjoy their favourite products and pasta at home.
Designed by Red Deer, the interior at Lina Stores – 51 Greek Street is influenced by the restaurants and cafes of mid-century Italy. It is evocative of the original Lina Stores deli and its instantly recognizable green, white and polished aluminum aesthetic featured throughout.
