Since opening, Indian Accent has been placed in the top 50 at the National Restaurant Awards Top 100; was one of just four nominees for best newcomer in the 2018 Harden’s London Restaurant Awards; and, most recently, was awarded Newcomer of the Year at the 2018 London Restaurant Festival Awards.
Chef Manish Mehrotra’s creative menus offer fine-dining at its best, from à la carte choices to the seven-course Chef’s Tasting Menu, complete with elegantly paired wines, available for both lunch and dinner.
Signature dishes include Soy keema, quail egg and lime leaf butter pao and Ghee roast lamb, roomali roti pancakes, chutneys. Vegetarians and vegans are well catered for with a number of exciting dishes, as well as a dedicated vegetarian and vegan tasting menus, featuring choices such as tofu masala, shishito pepper, quinoa puffs and green peas kofta, sweet potato and coconut curry. The restaurant also has a gluten free tasting menu on offer. When it comes to dessert, sweet treats such as doda barfi treacle tart, vanilla bean ice cream is sure to tempt you. The makhan malai, saffron milk, rose petal jaggery brittle, almonds, is a recreation of the rarely seen medieval Indian dish.
