Delamina in Marylebone was opened in March 2018 to serve dishes inspired by Limor’s fusion Middle Eastern home cooking and Israeli background.

The focus is on grilling and roasting ingredients and produce that are full of goodness, seasoned with the fragrant herbs and spices of the region. The food is accompanied by a drinks list that includes exciting and innovative wines from the Middle East, alongside house cocktails that incorporate the same aromatic herbs and spices used in the kitchen.

With their kids “flying the nest”, the restaurant is truly the owner’s baby project. Designed by them, it reflects their love of organic materials, found objects and collectables, alongside family photos and lots of greenery. They wanted to create an ambience of entering someone’s home surrounded by the colours and materials of the Mediterranean. Limor is an accomplished artist and she created a site-specific installation for the restaurant.

Service at Delamina reflects the informal and welcoming style of the owners’ Israeli background. The team’s passion for the food is founded on detailed knowledge of the ingredients and flavour combinations on offer. A bespoke music playlist created by an Israeli DJ using tracks from across the region completes the owners’ vision of Delamina being a happy place!
