Cut + Grind launched in Kings Cross in November 2017. The ambition was simple. Create great tasting burgers from quality aged cuts of British beef. We quite literally took the bull by the horns and began to grind our own signature blends from different cuts of beef.

The resulting burgers were on another level and got us to the finals of the National Burger Awards in February 2018. The “Classic” burger combines our aged beef patty, with our homemade pickles and signature burger sauce. It blew the competition out of the water. Cut + Grind was now home to Britain’s best burger after just a few months of existence.

Fast forward to 2021 and Cut + Grind are at it again, bringing home another winner’s medal from the National Burger Awards for the “Coq + Bull”. This time combining braised ox cheek, bone marrow mayo and crispy chicken skin with our aged beef patties.

The vision for 2022 is to expand Cut + Grind into other parts of London whilst staying true to our ethos of quality ingredients and homecooked food. We’ll continue to challenge the boundaries of great burgers by bringing innovation and skilled cookery to our menu without any silly gimmicks.
