Founded by friends Iré Hassan-Odukale and Jeremy Chan in July 2017, Ikoyi offers a unique take on West African cuisine, with Head Chef Jeremy bringing his fine dining experience from restaurants such as Dinner and Noma to create highly skilled dishes. The menu takes a three-course format, with Jeremy using innovative cooking techniques and modern presentation to interpret West African ingredients.
After receiving critical acclaim from the likes of Giles Coren and Fay Maschler last year, Jeremy and the team entered 2018 more ambitious than ever, announcing an entirely new menu that is almost completely dedicated to seafood. Highlights include Scallop, Ehuru, Burned Cream & Caviar, and Monkfish, Banga & Citrus Asaro. The shift is intended to demonstrate how Ikoyi is an ongoing project of discovering culinary applications for the incredible products of West Africa.
