Fresh, light and herbaceous, serve this delicious Seedlip cocktail recipe on balmy summer nights when you’d prefer to skip the booze.
1. First, make the basil and watermelon shrub the night before. Muddle all the ingredients together in a jar and leave overnight. Strain the next day before using.
2. Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, double strain and serve in a glass coupe. Garnish with a basil boat
For the cocktail:
- 50ml Seedlip Garden
- 20ml basil & watermelon shrub
- Egg white, dash
- Basil boat garnish
For 500ml of basil & watermelon shrub:
- 1 small watermelon
- 236ml apple cider vinegar
- 340g white sugar
- Basil leaves, handful
