Cocktail recipe: Good Fortune

Ingredients

  • 45ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
  • 30ml Campari
  • 15ml Belsazar White Vermouth
  • 15ml Apple Liqueur (Apfelkorn)
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters (such as Kensington or Angostura)

Celebrate the year of the pig with this delicious Good Fortune cocktail dreamt up by Diageo’s global cocktailian, Lauren Mote!

Method

1. Fill a cocktail mixer with ice and add the ingredients

2. Stir gently with ice, using a mixing glass and bar spoon. After 10-15 rotations, the cocktail should be well chilled and diluted

3. Using a julep strainer, pour the ingredients neat into a glass (ideally a chilled nick & nora glass

4. Garnish with an orange peel-twist, expressing the oils over the top of the cocktail, then drop into the glass.
