Michelin Guide recognises Taste of London favourites!

More great restaurants announced for Taste of London: The Festive Edition

We know you come to Taste to sample London’s latest and greatest restaurants… and we have your wish-list covered! Joining already announced culinary heavyweights Kurobuta, Tom’s Kitchen and Hix at Taste this November are Oldroyd, Café Spice Namaste and Pizarro.

Head chef Tom Oldroyd spent 9 years perfecting his craft at Polpo group and is now dazzling visitors at his hit Islington restaurant, Oldroyd, with a daily-changing European menu, featuring the best seasonal British ingredients.

Café Spice Namaste

21 years ago Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala opened Café Spice Namaste in an old Victorian magistrates’ court in East London. Today, this City-fringe restaurant serving delectable Goan and Parsi-inspired dishes has amassed a legion of loyal fans.

The critically-acclaimed second restaurant from legendary chef José Pizarro, this eatery in the heart of buzzing Bermondsey offers small tapas-style dishes with bright vibrant flavours.

The Daily Special returns!

The Daily Special will see some of London’s most exciting restaurants popping-up for one day only to showcase their delicious fare. On Thursday get a taste of Mexican heat at El Barrio, expect chargrilled American delights from Bukowski Grill on Friday, much-hyped Foley’s will serve Bib Gourmand standard dishes on Saturday and on Sunday, Black Axe Mangal will be rocking their phenomenal Turkish-inspired kebabs and flatbreads.

We didn’t quite eat “everything”, although we made a good attempt: lamb shank bhuna, Goan prawn curry, crispy dosa pancakes…”
