Beronia Wine School
They say you should never stop learning and we say cheers to that if every lesson is as tasty as a grape-festooned visit to the Beronia Wine School. Swing by their masterclasses at Taste of London to discover the world of Rioja wines and sample 4 delicious vintages paired perfectly with the likes of manchego & quince and chorizo.
In Northern Spain there is a long-standing tradition of gastronomic societies, known as txokos, where men meet friends to cook and share their passion for fine food and drink. In the 1970s one such group of friends formed a txoko in the small town of Ollauri in Rioja Alta. Unsatisfied with the wine on offer at the time, they decided to start their own winery to make wines worthy of partnering their culinary achievements. The result was multi award-winning Rioja winery, Bodegas Beronia.
Masterclasses run for 20 minutes at half past every hour during lunch sessions and on the hour during evening sessions.
