Anjum Anand has presented two BBC television series and written eight cookbooks, encouraging the nation to cook real Indian food at home. The Spice Tailor was born out of her desire to make it easy for everyone to enjoy the deep, layered flavours of some of India’s most popular regional recipes. The products contain fresh ingredients, they are cooked in batches as they would be in a home kitchen. They are designed to be highly versatile and super convenient, so that meals can be prepared in just ten minutes to suit occasion, budget and personal taste.
The company started out with curries but has grown to include a range of Anjum’s favourite Indian dishes – from delicious daals, to spicy chutnis, naans and now Indian wraps which are based on one of India’s beloved street food staples – the kathi roll. The Spice Tailor is striving to make the very best of India’s rich culinary scene available for everyone to cook with and enjoy.
The Spice Tailor stand will be selling a range of ten of their bestselling Indian food products including curries, daals and street food kits. Visitors will be able to sample one of our most popular sauces – Tikka Masala – which we will be preparing with paneer.
Anjum Anand, the face and founder of The Spice Tailor will be on hand to meet visitors and tell them about The Spice Tailor story. The flavours of India can be enjoyed with meat, fish, vegetables and pulses so there really is something for everyone.
