Why Nut? was born as it was realised that there was a big opportunity in the healthy snacking market for products that were a bit different. Built on the emerging trends of using only naturally occurring sugars and a clean label but created something that wasn’t a bar or solid ball and that had more textural variability than the products that are currently available, Why Nut?’s programme of consumer focused development led them to focus on nuts as the hero ingredient. Nuts are high in good fats and micronutrients, high in fibre and naturally low in sugar. The products contain more nuts than any other ingredient and have been innovatively combined with fruit, seeds, grains and nothing else in a bitesize portion packed format to give you a healthy energy boost throughout the day.
