Greens’ Beers began brewing in Belgium in 2003, and were the first naturally gluten-free beer in Europe. As pioneers of experimental craft brewing, they decided to replace the conventional barley grain and replace with healthier ancient grains such as buckwheat, millet and sorghum – grains higher in protein and probiotic benefits – to give richer, more complex taste profiles.
Greens’ Beers have since expanded the range to reflect the world’s more popular beer styles, have won a number of international brewing awards, collaborated with smaller, more interesting brewers, and continue to push the boundaries in terms of craft experimentation.
Green’s Beers are unpasteurised which ensures they retain their full flavour, and are re-fermented in the bottle too! This means the beer has living yeast cells that help support the body’s microflora. All the beers are Vegetarian Society and Vegan approved.
