Camino and Bar Pepito will be serving selected sherries and wines from their award-winning wine list, along with complimentary sides of perfectly-matched tapas. Choose from Tio Peppe, Fillaboa Albarino, or Beronia Rioja, paired with our famous pulpo, legendary jamon 5 jotas, or stuffed aubergines. You will also be able to sample their delicious Camino olives and jamon, as well as buy to take home.

Camino was inspired by a life-changing road trip in the summer of 1984, driving across Spain from north to south and back in blazing heat in a tiny old black Mini. The landscape, the people and the lifestyle made a deep and everlasting impression, and left a burning need to recreate a piece of España back home in London.

The Camino team have made countless journeys since, travelling all over the country and experiencing the true nature of Spain and its food and drink. Each time they come back with amazing memories and fresh ideas. And rather more addictively, a van crammed full of lovely old Spanish clobber from street markets and antique shops, that will later proudly adorn their walls.

A truly authentic experience is all in the details, and that’s why you’ll also find some of Spain’s best beers, freshly mixed cocktails from the finest Spanish licores, and a variety of good, strong coffees served just like they do it in Spain. Camino MD, Richard Bigg, puts the wine list together, sourcing the best wines and sherries from a wide and diverse range of styles and price points. He visits pretty much all of the bodegas they’re from with the whole Camino crew two or three times a year, to taste the product and soak up some Spanish culture!

Head Chef Nacho bases each menu on the authenticity and simplicity of the food working with the best suppliers to source top quality, seasonal ingredients, most of which are imported directly from Spain. Although originating from the Basque Country region, the acclaimed gastronomic heartland of Spain, Nacho’s cooking includes dishes from all over the country.

Camino now have four sites in London, at King’s Cross, Monument, Blackfriars and Bankside. Bar Pepito is London’s first sherry bar and Time Out’s Best Bar of the Year 2010, and Copa De Cava is their cava cellar bar.

Bar Pepito opened its doors in March 2010 across the courtyard from Camino in King’s Cross. It’s an intimate Andalusian bodega specializing in the most exciting styles of sherry, and mixes the best traditions from Jerez with a refreshing up to date approach.
