Chis Baber, 27, is a professional chef, working under critically acclaimed Michelin-starred chef, Atul Kochhar in 2016. Having taken the role of head chef in the Baber household from the age of 6, food has always been a huge part of his life, and in 2016 he went on to win BBC One's popular cooking competition, Yes Chef, beating thousands of other entrants to the coveted prize.
Building a strong following online, Chris has an engaged audience across his social media platforms. He regularly posts his cooking methods as simple, wholesome recipes, aiming to give kitchen confidence to those looking for inspiration not matter what level of experience.
Chris is passionate about improving everyone's ability to cook from scratch, and as such launched BBC's Blue Peter "Cooking Club", an online initiative to encourage children of all ages to try new recipes. He also recently fronted his own food strand with BBC One's Saturday Kitchen.
