James started cooking at the age of twelve and by sixteen he had started his first catering business. Whilst in his final year at university James founded The Nomadic Food Company. Within 6 years Nomadic has become one of the top event catering companies in the UK boasting four different concepts.
James’s wife Rebecca lived and worked in Florence for 4 years and together they have traveled extensively throughout the country. Nonna Tonda was born through a shared love of Italy and Italian food. James has worked in a number of restaurants in Italy including the Michelin starred L’erba del re in Modena.
