Sartoria is an all-day dining restaurant by the renowned chef Francesco Mazzei, inspired by his home region of Calabria and the surrounding area of Italy.
This is Mazzei’s first role since leaving L’Anima restaurant after seven years there as chef patron. Francesco has created an all-day dining menu that features dishes from his native Calabria and other regions in Italy. Highlights of the menus include Pancia di maiale arrosto, verdue sott'olio e sanguinaccio—Slow roasted black pig belly, pickled vegetables and black pudding—and Tortelli with burrata, 'nudja and aged Modena balsamic vinegar.
Freshly baked Italian breads and cakes are also available in the bar for those looking for an Italian afternoon tea or snack, before aperitivo hour begins and the bar becomes laden with sharing boards of Italian hand carved meats and cheeses.
The Libare Bar is a Savile Row hotspot, combining a dash of old Mayfair charm with a measure of Italian style. The drinks list comprises seasonal twists on Italian classics alongside original creations, as well as liqueurs created by Francesco himself, including his home-grown bergamot.
The restaurant design is inspired by the glamour and romance of Italy in its 20th Century heyday; and features a bar and cicchetti counter, two private dining rooms as well as a wine cellar where sommelier Michael Simms hosts dinners and wine tastings, alongside a year-round outside terrace.
